TUCSON, Ariz. -

Arizona head coach Vicky Maes and the No. 33 women’s tennis team will host No. 35 San Diego on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. at Robson Tennis Center.

The Wildcats started out the spring season with a win over No. 63 UC Santa Barbara. They traveled to Nashville Tenn. and fell to No. 17 Vanderbilt and No. 23 Alabama, but gave the teams a scare without one of their key players, sophomore Kim Stubbe (Mol, Belgium). Stubbe will be back in action on Saturday.

So far this season, senior Natasha Marks (Nottingham, England) has gone undefeated, beating UCSB’s Kiersten Meehan, Vanderbilt’s Marie Casares and Alabama’s Alex Clay.

Senior Sarah Landsman (Syosset, N.Y.) has also not lost this season, defeating UCSB’s Paoloa Cos and Vanderbilt’s Alex Leatu.

The Torreros have a 1-1 record coming into Robson after falling to No. 28 Washington and defeating No. 38 UNLV.

The match with USD will be open and free to the public.
