WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Senior Mallory Miller has been named the Pac-10 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 4-10, Pac-10 Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

The Tucson, Ariz. native led the Wildcats to a 2-0 Conference start by scoring 10 points over the weekend. In the series with Oregon and Oregon State, Miller posted four goals and two assists to contribute to or score six of the seven Wildcat goals. Her second hat trick of the season came on Friday night, helping Arizona to defeat Oregon, 4-2, while breaking the Wildcat record for career goals (27).

On Sunday against Oregon State, Miller assisted on the first two goals and scored the third goal of the Wildcats’ 3-0 victory. The goal was her 14th of the season, which breaks the record for most goals in a season and the program record for most career points with 71.

This is Miller’s second Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and Arizona’s ninth weekly honor all-time.
