Lincoln, Neb. (April 24) - Arizona sophomore Monica Bisordi finished with an all-around score of 38.575 in the second session of competition at the 2003 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships on Thursday in Nebraska's Devaney Center.
Rotating with Auburn University, Bisordi posted marks of 9.750 on vault and floor, 9.725 on bars and 9.350 on beam. Bisordi topped four other all-around gymnasts in the competition, but was unable to advance to Saturday's individual championships in any event.
Bisordi finishes her sophomore campaign earning a team-high 47 top-five individual event finishes, including six all-around titles, six beam titles, three floor titles and two bar titles on the season. In a meet against Oklahoma (3/14) earlier this season, Bisordi posted a career-high score of 39.750 in the all-around that stands as the second-best all-around mark in school history.
