BRISTOL, Conn. -- Arizona Softball sophomore Brittany Lastrapes was named to the ESPN 2009 NCAA Softball All-America Team on Tuedsay.

For the Laguna Niguel, Calif. native, it was her second All-America commendation this season. In May, she was named to the NFCA first team.

Lastrapes, who is currently in Chula Vista, Calif. at the U.S. National Team selection camp, led the Pac-10 in batting average at .481, and upped her career numbers in virtually every offensive category this season.

The Pac-10 Conference placed six players on the ESPN All-America Team, comprising half of the total count.

Lastrapes was named to the NFCA All-America third team in 2008.
