TUCSON, Ariz. -

Arizona head coach David Rubio and the Wildcat volleyball team (18-11, 10-10) welcome in-state rival Arizona State (8-21, 4-16) to McKale Center on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.

The Wildcats are coming off a split in Los Angeles last weekend, defeating No. 2 UCLA 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-20) and falling to No. 1 USC, 3-0 (14-25, 18-25, 21-25).

For seniors Marketa Hanzlova (Liberec, Czech Republic), Courtney Karst (Centennial, Colo.) and Cursty Jackson (Los Angeles, Calif.), it will be the last home match of their careers.

The seniors will be recognized for their years at Arizona prior to the match. In addition, Rubio will be recognized for earning the 500th win of his career last weekend.

Karst and freshman Madi Kingdon (Phoenix, Ariz.) lead the team in kills with 312 each and Jackson is close behind with 294. Jackson leads in hitting percentage at .309 and blocks with 78, sophomore Candace Nicholson (Long Beach, Calif.) leads in digs with 360 and freshman Chloe Mathis (La Jolla, Calif.) leads with 840 assists.

The Sun Devils also took on No. 1 and No. 2 last weekend, falling to USC, 3-1 (25-17, 19-25, 25-20, 25-12) and UCLA, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 29-27).

The Wildcats have won the last four matchups in the 78-match series dating back to 1977. The last time the Sun Devils won was Nov. 2, 2008 in Tempe, Ariz., by a score of 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-23).

ASU has a 8-21 overall record and is 4-16 in Pac-12 play this season. Sonja Markanovich leads the team in kills with 399, Shannan McCready leads in assists with 615, Stephanie Preach leads in digs with 560 and Erica Wilson leads in blocks with 72.
