TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona men's golf team currently is tied for eighth place after three rounds at the 2011 Pac-10 Conference Men's Golf Championships in Palo Alto, Calif.

Arizona carded a 362 (+12) total Saturday and has a team tally of 1,090 (+40) through the 54 holes to share eighth place with Washington.

USC posted a 54-hole tally of 1,061 (+11) and leads the field by three stroke heading into Sunday's final round. Host Stanford (1,064) sits in second place, while Oregon (1,070) and UCLA (1,070) round out the top four places. UA is one of four teams within two shots of one another in places six through eighth (tie).

Martin Trainer of USC and Alex Moore of Oregon State share the individual lead at five-under 205.

The Wildcats continue to be led by Erik Oja, who carded a third-round 73 (+3) and stands in a tie for 16th place at 215 (+5). Tarquin MacManus posted one-over 71 and moved up to a tie for 24th place with a 217 (+7) total.

Senior Stefan Cox is tied for 36th place at 220 (+10) after shooting 77 Saturday. Teammate Juan Pablo Hernandez, who carded Arizona's low round of the day Saturday with an even-par 70, is tied for 39th place at 221 (+11).

Jonathan Khan is tied for 48th place at 226 (+16) after carding a 71 (+1), while Tye Beall is in 57th place at 230 (+20).

The Pac-10 Men's Golf Championships continue through Sunday at the Stanford Golf Course, a par-70, 6,742-yard layout. Live tournament scoring is available at
