TUCSON
, Ariz. – The No. 21 Arizona baseball team returns home this weekend and is expecting to play in front of the some of the largest crowds of the season thanks to a highly successful first half of the season and a national ranking that it has held for three consecutive weeks.

The Wildcats (23-9, 4-5 Pac-10) host Washington State this weekend in a three-game Pac-10 conference series at Kindall Field/Sancet Stadium. The series begins on Friday at 6 p.m. as Arizona sends ace pitcher Kurt Heyer (5-0) to the mound. The teams will continue the series on Saturday at 6 p.m. and conclude the set on Sunday at Noon.

Friday’s game is sure to be a fun one for those attending as fans are encouraged to participate in “80’s Night” by wearing their best attire from the 80’s. Participating fans can enter a “best dressed” contest for a chance to win prizes.

On Saturday, UA will host Club Arizona Kid’s Day. Admission for all Club Arizona members is just $1 and all kids can attend a pre-game carnival which will be held from 5-6 p.m. Activities include a bean bag toss, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, poster creation station, mini basketball hoop, hula hoops, and Eegee drinks.

Fans planning to attend Sunday’s game have the opportunity to buy one ticket and get one ticket free if they purchase online. To purchase ticket for Sunday’s game and any of this weekend’s game, click here.

Arizona, which won 15-consecutive home games earlier this season, is 20-5 at home this season. This weekend’s action will be followed by another crucial home series next weekend as the Wildcats host No. 2 UCLA April 23-25.
