LOS ANGELES ?- The No. 8 Arizona volleyball team fell to 15-3 overall and 7-2 in Pacific-10 play with a 3-1 loss (28-30, 30-27, 28-30, 23-30) to USC at the Lyons Center tonight.

Arizona hit .209 on the match, compared to the .228 of the Trojans. The Wildcats were also out-blocked 11-9.

“It’s always frustrating when you lose, but even more so when it happens the way it did tonight,” Head Coach David Rubio said. “We just made so many unforced errors tonight. We gave them a couple of the games.

“It’s the same issues ?- our passing isn’t precise enough,” he continued. “Our setting is the same. We need to get better in those two areas in order to improve and be a championship-caliber team.”

Senior Kim Glass led all players with 22 kills, 20 digs, four blocks and three service aces. Senior Jennifer Abernathy finished with 15 kills and 14 digs for her second consecutive double-double and seventh of the season.

Junior Kristina Baum added 12 kills, while senior Bre Ladd tallied eight kills and a team-high five blocks.

Setter Amy Dyck dished out 54 assists to go along with nine digs, just shy of a double-double, while libero Brittany Leonard finished with a team-high 24 digs.

UP NEXT: Arizona hosts No. 2 Washington and Washington State next Thursday and Friday, Oct. 27-28, in the McKale Center. Both matches start at 7 p.m.
