Arizona Holiday Bowl Central
TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona has sent Holiday Bowl tickets to fans who purchased them from the school last week. All tickets are expected to be delivered by December 17.
Fans who purchased tickets to the game but do not receive tickets by the end of the day on December 17 are encouraged to call the McKale Ticket Office at 520-621-2287.
Wildcat fans bought the school’s 11,000 allotted tickets within 48 hours of the bowl pairing’s official announcement earlier this month. The Holiday Bowl announced the game was sold out late last week.
Arizona will be making its second appearance in the Holiday Bowl. Interestingly, UA’s last appearance was against this year’s opponent – Nebraska. The Wildcats prevailed 23-20 in the 1998 game that remains the highest-rated in the bowl’s 32-year history.
The Wildcats are completing final exams this year and will return to the practice field on Thursday evening as they begin preparations for the Cornhuskers. The team will depart next week and will spend a week in San Diego enjoying the events and festivities that lead up to the bowl game.
The game will kick off at 5 p.m. (PT) and will be televised to a national audience on ESPN.
