He slugged at a 1.571 clip for the weekend and posted a .824 on base percentage in the series for an astronomical OPS of 2.395. His efforts improved his season batting average 37 points from .321 heading into the weekend to its current .358 level.</FONT></P> <P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in"><FONT size=2>In Friday&rsquo;s 16-2 win, Steele went 4 for 5 with a double, a RBI and a run scored. His first home run, a three-run shot in the first inning cleared the 35-foot high batter&rsquo;s eye in straight away center.
