TUCSON, Ariz. - Regional honors for the 2005 women's college soccer season were announced by Soccer Buzz on December 20, marking the tenth year of Soccer Buzz postseason accolades. Forty-seven schools comprising the West Region were eligible. Buzz Awards, presented since 1996, were decided by a vote open to all Division 1 Head Coaches and Soccer Buzz staff. Senior Mallory Miller was named to the All-West First Team.

The senior forward had a prolific senior season, breaking all 12 season and career offensive records at UA. She led the Pac-10 in points per game (1.95) and goals per game (0.86) and was ranked nationally in both categories.

She helped guide the Wildcats to an overall record of 11-8-3, including the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance. Named Pac-10 Player of the Year, Miller was also named to the NSCAA/adidas All-America Team.

Soccer Buzz national awards will be announced Thursday, December 22.
