PHOENIX - Fox Sports Arizona announced today that it will televise the University of Arizona at University of Oregon football game live on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 4:30 p.m. (MST) to its viewers in Arizona and New Mexico.
Arizona and Oregon requested a waiver from the Pac-10 in order to televise their game opposite the day's 4:30 pm MT/3:30 p.m. PT window for Versus that features USC-Stanford. The waiver was granted, therefore allowing both school's respective local television partners to air the game live at the same time.
"To be able to get this game on television with such short notice takes an incredible amount of effort by our staff," said Mike Connelly, Fox Sports Arizona Senior Vice President & General Manager. "We know UA fans want to watch this very important game and by making that possible, it follows through on Fox Sports Arizona's mission to be the leader in local sports television programming."
Fox Sports Arizona will use an announce team of Dave Sitton and Lincoln Kennedy to call the game from Autzen Stadium. The Wildcats and Ducks contest will be one of three games televised on Fox Sports Arizona on Nov. 15 and the schedule is as follows (All times Mountain Standard):
10:00 am: College Football Saturday Kickoff 10:30 am: Texas at Kansas State 4:30 pm: Arizona at Oregon 8:15 pm: UCLA at Washington
The Oregon game will mark the UA football team's fourth appearance on Fox Sports Arizona this season and its third appearance in four weeks. The ASU game in Tucson on Saturday, Dec. 6, is also a game that could be shown on the network. Television picks for the date will be announced on Monday, Nov. 24.
