BOULDER, Colo. -

Freshman Madi Kingdon (Phoenix, Ariz.) and the Arizona Volleyball team (12-6, 4-5) defeated Colorado (5-13, 0-10), 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-18) in Boulder, Colo. on Friday night.

Senior Cursty Jackson (Los Angeles) matched her season-high with seven blocks and also contributed eight kills, while senior Courtney Karst (Centennial, Colo.) added 10 kills for Arizona.

As a team, the Wildcats hit .219 and held Colorado to .052, the lowest percentage of any conference foe this season.

“It was a good match,” Arizona head coach David Rubio said. “We did not play at our best, but we played okay. I thought we served and passed well.”

Nikki Lindow and Kerra Schroeder led the Buffaloes with seven kills each.

The Wildcats will have a quick turnaround as they face Utah on Saturday in Salt Lake City, Utah. The match is slated to start at 7 p.m. MST.
