Women's Tennis Falls to Sun Devils

TEMPE, Ariz. - The No. 40 Arizona women's tennis team fell to No. 20 Arizona State 6-1 at Whiteman Tennis Center this afternoon. The Wildcats are now 9-13 in the season and are 3-5 in the Pac-10.

Two of the three Sun Devil doubles came out with victories to give the Sun Devils the doubles point.

In singles, Danielle Steinberg continued to build momentum going into the Pac-10 tournament with her win at the No. 1 spot. Steinberg took down Sabrina Capannolo in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2.

The Wildcats travel to Ojai, Calif., next week for the Pac-10 tournament, held April 26-29th.
