TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Reshea Bristol had 25 points and four of her teammates scored in double figures as Arizona defeated UCLA 89-79 Thursday night.

Arizona (17-7, 7-5 Pac-10) notched its 12th consecutive home win while handing the Bruins (3-19, 2-8) their sixth straight loss.

With UCLA leading 27-26 with six minutes remaining in the first half, Arizona went on a 16-4 run to take a 42-31 lead with two minutes remaining.

The Bruins recovered with six straight points, cutting the lead to 42-37 going into the locker room.

UCLA led 56-55 with 11:10 to play when Kristee Porter, who finished with a career-high 25 points, scored from the paint. Then Arizona, with eight points from Bristol, went on an 20-5 run over a four-minute span to take a 75-61 lead with seven minutes remaining.

Michelle Greco cut the lead to 82-74 with two minutes left, but the Bruins could get no closer. Greco scored 22 points overall, and Whitney Jones added 10.

Bristol had nine rebounds and nine assists. Aimee Grzyb added 14 points, Elizabeth Pickney had 13, Veranda James 12; and Krista Warren 10.
