INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA will host its first ever women’s gymnastics selection show tomorrow, March 26 at 3 p.m. EST, enabling interested fans to go to www.NCAA.com and view the NCAA Regional Championship competition selections live.
Selections are determined based upon RQS scores upon the conclusion of the conference championships. Each of the six Regional Championships features a 1, 2, and 3 seed from the top 18 national team rankings. From there, the conference considers the next 18 ranked teams (No. 19 through 36) and distributes them based upon geographic proximity to each pre-selected Regional Championship location.
Based on the conference championships that took place this past Friday, it can be guessed that Arizona will end up at the North Carolina State Regional, the Washington Regional or the Illinois Regional.
This process will be detailed live during the inaugural NCAA Selection Show, live via the NCAA official website (www.NCAA.com)
