Men's and Women's Basketball to Host Tip-Off Luncheons

The University of Arizona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the annual women's and men’s basketball tip-off events on Sunday, Oct. 30 and Friday, Nov. 11.

On Sunday, Oct. 30, the Arizona women’s basketball team will have its tip-off reception at McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse.  Tickets are $20 per person and the reception will begin at 3 p.m. Coach Joan Bonvicini, her staff and the 2005-06 team will be in attendance. 

The Men’s Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon will be in the Grand Ballroom of the Arizona Memorial Student Union on Friday, Nov. 11.  The luncheon is scheduled to begin at noon and end at approximately 1:30 p.m. General public tickets are $30 per seat. Parking is available free of charge in the 2nd Street Garage on Mountain Avenue and 2nd Street.
