EUGENE, Ore. ?- The No. 6 Arizona volleyball team defeated Oregon 3-1 (30-25, 30-24, 29-31, 30-26) at McArthur Court tonight. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 21-5 overall and 13-4 in the Pac-10.
“We were really flat tonight,” Head Coach David Rubio said. “It was too casual of a match for us. We didn’t play well enough to take care of business in three games, and I really hope this doesn’t catch up with us tomorrow.”
Arizona hit .336 on the match, compared to the .215 of the Ducks. The Wildcats also out-blocked Oregon 19-7.
Sophomore Dominique Lamb and senior Bre Ladd led the Arizona defense, tallying 10 and eight blocks, respectively. Sophomore setter Amy Dyck dished out 52 assists to go along with three service aces and three blocks.
Arizona closes out the regular season with a 7 p.m. (PST) match at Oregon State tomorrow, Nov. 26.
