Intensity and Offense in Second Day: The second day of fall practice brought about the second five inning intrasquad game of Autumn. The offense took change as the Gray team (away) scored six runs in the fourth inning en route to a 7-2 victory over the White team. Sophomore Brian Anderson and senior Chris Cunningham hit back-to-back home runs in the inning. All six runs came with two outs.
A number of newcomers to the Wildcat program were impressive in Day Two. Freshman Will Thompson was 3-for-3 on the afternoon with two doubles, two runs scored and a two-out RBI. Classmate John Hardy finished 1-for-2 with a triple, a RBI and a run scored.

Quoting Coach: "We were much better today. Our intensity was up and I was pleased with the effort put forth. We were working mainly on two different things this afternoon. Intensity and efficiency . Our intensity was there, but we still need to work on our efficiency. We hustled and made plays today, but we need to go about it in a different manner. All together though, I'm pleased. We were much better today." - Coach Lopez.
