Women's Golf First Round Action Suspended

TEMPE, Ariz. - Due to inclement weather the Arizona women's golf team's first round action of the PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. was suspended, Friday.

The Wildcats had made it through hole three before the rain showers ended play. Sophomore Katie Christy was the only Arizona golfer who was unable to tee off. Christy will tee off at 7:30 a.m. when play resumes.

The Wildcats will complete the first round beginning at 7:30 a.m. MST, with the second round beginning immediately following the first round. The tournament is being played at Karsten Golf Course on the Arizona State campus, a par 72, 6,230-yard layout.
