Arizona Athletics and FSN Arizona join forces to produce the live internet webcasts
TUCSON, Ariz. ?- The University of Arizona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and its broadcast partner FSN Arizona will provide live internet webcasts of the intrasquad games for the men’s and women’s basketball programs.
The women’s Pepsi Red-Blue Game, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. PDT, and the men’s Pepsi Red-Blue Game, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. MST, can be seen live on UA’s official athletic web site http://www.arizonaathletics.com. The games are being offered as part of Arizona’s “All Access” internet video/audio subscription service.
All Access is the official on-line media streaming site of Arizona Athletics, and offers Wildcat fans unprecedented coverage of Arizona Athletics with the most comprehensive audio and video premium content available. Premium content services are offered for both broadband/high speed and 56K or 28.8 modem dial-up internet users. Please read the ALL ACCESS requirements relating to your connection speed. Subscribers have access to weekly video press conferences, coach and player interviews, live streaming video and game audio, archived footage of television coach’s shows, and more.
UA’s in-house video feed, along with McKale Center’s public address audio, will be streamed live to the internet where fans can view the game in real time. It is the only broadcast outlet for either contest. FSN Arizona’s Sean Mooney will provide several sideline reports during the men’s game, including an interview with head coach Lute Olson.
It marks the first time that UA and FSN Arizona have teamed up to produce any live internet webcasts.
The Wildcat women return four of five starters from last year’s squad that won the Pac-10 regular-season title for the first time in program history and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Arizona opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 12, against saint Mary’s (Calif.) in the first round of the Sportsview.tv Preseason W.N.I.T.
The Arizona men return 10 squadmen from last season’s 20-10 club that earned the program’s 20th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats open the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 16, against San Diego in the first round of the 2004 Cisco Systems Preseason N.I.T.
