TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team finished the first two rounds with a score of 589 (+13) on Monday at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate, hosted by UC Davis and Oregon. The Intercollegiate is being held at Half Moon Bay Golf Links (Ocean Course) in Half Moon Bay. Calif. (par 72, 6,034 yards).
In the team race, UCLA remains in first place and the only team to shoot under par with a two-round score of 563 (-13). USC finished the day in second place at 577 (+1), and San Jose State sits in third place with an 8-over 584. In the individual race, UCLA's Erynne Lee finished with a 136 (-8), and teammate Tiffany Lua and USC's Lisa McCloskey are tied for second at 3-under 141.
For the Wildcats, senior Margarita Ramos improved from a tie for thirteenth place to lead the team with her tie for ninth with a score of 145 (+1). Ramos' first-round score of 72 (E) marked a team low for the day. Seniors Isabelle Boineau and Nikki Koller and junior Kyndall Ardoin finished the day in a tie for 29th place with scores of 149 (+5). Freshman Manon Gidalifinished the day with a 150 (+6) to tie for 39th place.
