Hi GymCat Fans!
First off I would like to thank everyone who has attended our first two home meets to support and cheer us on. You guys are awesome! Although we won our first home meet against ASU, we know as a team that we need to step it up!
I think that once we got over the first home meet jitters, we started to show what we are made of in our second meet against No. 14 Boise State. It was such an exciting moment for us as a team. We finally put out some really great routines, came out with a victory, and most importantly, received a solid team score. Even though we had a great meet, we know there is still room for improvement.
We have had such a fun time being able to compete at home and to experience such a huge support system. We have been improving so much as a team each week, and I feel that going forward the sky's the limit.
This Friday is an especially important meet, as it will be our breast cancer awareness meet, and we will be up against the University of Illinois - Chicago Flames. We will be all decked out in pink this Friday to support this worthy cause! Please come out to the meet and help us support Breast Cancer awareness...and don't forget to wear your pink!
