General:  A scorer with great instincts for the game ... Play in all 37 games as a freshman (2004-05), but was limited to a total of 45 minutes in 2005-06 ... A healthy McClellan will greatly improve the Wildcat fortunes and make the UA perimeter one of the deepest in the nation ... Might be the program’s best pure scorer since Michael Dickerson (1994-98) ... Displayed a great deal of poise for a freshman by logging 19.3 minutes per game in the 2005 NCAA Tournament, where he averaged 7.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and shot 52.6 percent (10-of-19) from the field.


2005-06 (Sophomore):  Academically ineligible to compete during the fall semester.  Regained his eligibility on Jan. 11 ... Had season-ending surgery on his left (non-shooting) wrist to repair a torn ligament on Jan. 19 ... Grabbed a rebound in 13 minutes at Oregon on 1/14 ... Saw a career-best 32 minutes in his first game back on 1/12 at Oregon State to go with eight points, two boards and two steals ... Had surgery to repair cartilage in his right knee on April 19.


2004-05 (Freshman):  Named Arizona’s Outstanding Freshman in a vote by his teammates ... A very accurate shooter who pushed Hassan Adams in practice at the wing position ... Joined Mohamed Tangara as the only freshmen to appear in UA’s season opener ... Strong on the offensive glass as 59 of his 110 rebounds were offensive ... In three Pac-10 Tournament games, he averaged 11.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, while shooting 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the floor ... Averaged 11 points and six rebounds to go with a .583 field goal percentage (7-of-12) in two appearances at Madison Square Garden ... Tallied 10 points, four boards, a block, an assist and a steal in 24 minutes vs. Illinois in the Chicago Regional final on 3/26 ... Milby High School ... Four-year starter who finished his career as the school’s all-time scoring leader (2,479 points) ... Team MVP as a junior and senior ... Averaged 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.9 steals and 2.9 blocks per game as a senior in leading the Buffs to an undefeated season (39-0) and Class 5A state championship for coach Jim Duffer ... Only the 11th team in Texas H.S. basketball history to go undefeated ... Scored 22 of his 31 points in the second half of Milby’s 72-67 come-from-behind win in the state title game ...
