TUCSON, Ariz. -

Arizona head coach David Rubio and the Wildcat volleyball team (14-9, 6-8) welcome Oregon State (14-10, 6-8) and No. 20 Oregon (15-7, 8-6) this weekend. The Wildcats will take on the Beavers on Friday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. PST and the Ducks on Sunday, Nov. 5 at noon MST.

Freshman Madi Kingdon (Phoenix, Ariz.) leads the team in kills with 250, while senior Cursty Jackson (Los Angeles) leads in hitting percentage (.322). Sophomore Candace Nicholson (Long Beach, Calif.) leads in digs with 291 and joins senior teammate Courtney Karst (Centennial, Colo.) to lead the team in aces with 17 each. Freshman Chloe Mathis (La Jolla, Calif.) fulfills the setting duties for the Wildcats and Taylor Arizobal (Dana Hills, Calif.) and Rachel Rhoades (San Diego, Calif.) round out the starting lineup.

The Wildcats split on the road last weekend, defeating Washington State, 3-1, (24-26, 25-19, 25-20, 25-15) and falling to No. 10 Washington, 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-22).

Oregon State

Series: Arizona leads, 39-13

Last matchup: Arizona won, 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17) on Sept. 17 in Corvallis, Ore.

Series History vs. Oregon State
The Wildcats have won the last three matchups in the series. The last time the Beavers won was Nov. 7, 2009 in Corvallis, Ore. by a score of 3-1 (30-28, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22).

Scouting the Beavers

Oregon State has won three-consecutive matches after losing seven-consecutive matches. The Beavers earned wins against Colorado and Utah last weekend, defeating the Buffaloes in five and sweeping the Utes on Spike Out Cancer night. Junior Camille Saxton killed a career-high tying 22 balls against Colorado, while senior Dre Shaw earned double-doubles in both matches.

Series History vs. Oregon

Before the 2011 season, Arizona had won five-consecutive matches in the series, including four matches in which Oregon was ranked in the top 20.

Scouting the Ducks
Oregon split its matches last weekend, defeating Colorado, 3-0 and falling to Utah, 3-2. Alaina Bergsma leads the team in kills and blocks, Lauren Plum serves as the Ducks' starting setter and Haley Jacob leads in digs. Oregon has had several good wins this season, including a season-opening victory at then-No. 1 Penn State and over No. 7 Washington on Oct. 22.
