TUCSON, Ariz. -Former Arizona soccer player Jennifer Klein was recently named a full time assistant coach at UNLV. A four-year letterwinner at Arizona (2002-05) and the Wildcats volunteer assistant coach last season, she began her post with the Rebels on August 15.

ˇ?Iˇ?m very happy for Jen and proud of her,ˇ± UA head coach Dan Tobias said. ˇ?Sheˇ?s worked hard both as a player and as a coach at Arizona to help elevate the program to greater heights. Sheˇ?s an extremely bright young coach and a natural leader. I know sheˇ?ll do a great job at UNLV.ˇ±

Klein started 59 of the 77 matches she played at Arizona and scored five goals and recorded nine assists. She was a team captain for Arizonaˇ?s first-ever Pac-10 title season in 2004 and the Wildcats 2005 run to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. She graduated from UA in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
