Box Score

TUCSON--Jenny Finch pitched a five-inning no-hitter and was one of four Arizona players to homer in an 8-0 victory over Evansville Saturday night in UA's Hillenbrand Invitational softball tournament.

Leneah Manuma doubled to lead off the Arizona second, and designated player Jenny Gladding homered to the opposite field in left to give UA a 2-0 lead.

Finch socked a two-run home run to straightaway center following an Evansville two-out error in the third to give UA two unearned runs and a 4-0 lead, which lasted only until the next batter, Manuma, homered to right to make it 5-0.

Lovie Jung led off the UA fifth with a home run to right, and after a hit, a walk and an error, Finch drove in a run grounding to second base to make it 7-0. The winning run, unearned, scored when Evansville rightfielder Kate Walker dropped a fly ball that would have been the third out, and Finch crossed the plate.

Arizona improved to 22-2 and is 3-0 in its tourney. Evansville is 10-10 and 1-2 in the tourney.
