Arizona ?- 2007: According to Coach Candrea: “Duran is a blue collar worker.  She comes to the ballpark and works hard.  She’s got a great attitude, good skills and will be a real good addition to this program.  She comes from Pima College where she won a national championship there.  Her game is not flashy, but will give you everything she’s got each day.”


Pima Community College ?- 2006: Member of coach Stacy Iveson’s 2006 NJCAA National Championship team ... Named a first team All-American ... Named to the first team Louisville Slugger Region team and first team All-Star Nationals squads.


Kansas ?- 2005: Started in 31 games and batted .255 for the Jayhawks as a true freshman ... Perfect in 20 fielding attempts ... All 25 base hits were singles ... Received Most Spirited Award ... Was a Dean’s List honors student.


High School: Flowing Wells High School, Tucson, Ariz., 2004 ... Two-time Dr. Voie Student-Athlete Award winner ... Won 5A State Championship Team ... Caballeros were ranked No. 1 in the country by ESPN in 2001 (freshman year) ... Also lettered in basketball and volleyball.
