The loss comes a day after the Wildcats were defeated by No. 29 Cal 6-1. Sophomore <A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=80020"><A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=80020">Peter Zimmer</A></A> put <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Arizona</st1:place></st1:State> on the scoreboard with a straight set victory over freshman Kevin Kaiser, but it was not long before Blake Muller sealed the deal for Stanford. His three-set victory at the No. 2 spot over <A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=80014"><A class=ARTICLELINK href="/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=80014">Bruno Alcala</A></A> clinched the victory for Stanford.
