OJAI, Calif. ?- The Arizona women’s tennis team completed competition in the Pac-10 tournament with one doubles pair falling and another withdrawing from their match.

In the doubles main draw, Wildcat pair Stephanie Balzert and Juliette Mavroleon fell to Southern California’s Luana Magnani and Lindsey Nelson, 8-3. Arizona’s Kasia Jakowlew and Tina Razloznik withdrew from their doubles match in the invitational draw due to Razloznik being ill.

Two Wildcats bounced back from their first round defeats with wins in the back draw bracket. Jakowlew defeated Stanford’s Joanna Kao, 6-1, 6-2. Mavroleon had a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Washington State’s Marjolein van de Ven. Balzert, however, fell to Washington’s Victoria Brymer, 6-2, 6-4.
