On the Utah game:
"It really was a hard-hitting game just like we expected. They got a lot of momentum in the fourth quarter after the field goal when they got to within six points. We had a couple of breakdowns in our protections, and we had some dropped passes. But, it was a good, tough game, and I was very pleased with our defense and the way we held on until the end. We rushed and blitzed them a lot, and down in the stretch, we did what we had to do to get it done."
"Offensively, we had a lot of good things going on in the first half. Jason Johnson did a good job of avoiding pressure and getting rid of the ball at times. They (Utah) were blitzing us so much, and they matched up one-on-one against those two (Wade and Thurman).
"We ran the ball a bunch of times, but we did not get very much production. We also lost a lot of yards on the sacks. We still had 44 runs and 35 passes, which is about the ratio we are looking for."
On UA's game conditioning:
"We saw last night that we are not in top game condition, and that is a result of a week off between our two games. We also were forced inside a lot last week, so we had a bunch of walk-throughs, and we didn't get in as much conditioning as we would have liked."
On Arizona's next opponent - Wisconsin:
"We've done all right (stopping the running game) so far, but we haven't faced a running game that will be as diversified as the one Wisconsin will give us. They mix the run and the pass much better than the two teams we've faced, and they have a good quarterback who can make a lot happen."
