Arizona - Junior Year (2003-04): Alternated between the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth positions for the Wildcats... Finished the season as Arizona’s primary No. 3 player... One of only two Wildcats to earn a winning record on the season with her 16-13 record... Had a six match winning streak in the beginning of the 2004 dual-match season... Went 6-1 in the fifth position... Had a winning record while playing in the third, fourth, and fifth positions... Had a 5-7 doubles record when paired with senior Debbie Larocque... Had a 6-5 record when paired with freshman Jessie Rochefort.

 

Arizona - Sophomore Year (2002-03): Arizona’s No. 5 singles player... Compiled an overall singles record of 19-20... Earned doubles record of 20-11 while mostly being paired with Dianne Hollands... Transferred to UA from University of Minnesota, where she compiled a 10-4 singles record... Won the doubles title with Hollands at the Fall Desert Classic in November... Had second-most doubles wins on the team.

 

Minnesota - Freshman Year (2001-02): Attended University of Minnesota for 2001-02 school year... Compiled a 9-19 singles record and a 6-15 doubles record when teamed with Andrea Rose... Member of the National Honors Academic Society.

 

High School: University of San Diego High School, San Diego, Calif., 2001... Earned three letters in tennis and one letter in softball as a pitcher... Team captain in 2000 and team MVP in 1999... Member of all-conference team in 2000... Ranked 15th in Southern California area and 73rd nationally among 18 year olds... Western League champion in 1998... Western League finalist in 1999... Four-year member of honor roll.

 

Personal: Daughter of Mike and Susie Perry... Both parents are systems analysts... Has one brother, Brian, 13... Wants to work in broadcasting for a major sports center... Date of Birth: June 24, 1983... Academic major is journalism.

 

Why Arizona? Transferred to UA from the University of Minnesota because of the great opportunities in athletics and academics, the warm weather and the great athletic facilities... Enjoys traveling with the team because “the girls are awesome, and we truly understand the concept of teamwork,” she said... Expects the UA women’s tennis team to be “a winning success”... Feels that UA will improve in stats and ranking... Enjoys that the players push each other to strive for success and improvement.

 

Favorites: Enjoys catching up on sleep after a hard day of school and practice, hanging out with friends, shopping and swimming... Favorite tennis player is Monica Seles because she has been through so much and has the best attacking game... Favorite pro team is the Chicago Cubs... Enjoys the music of Bob Marley and John Mayer... Favorite foods are frozen yogurt and bean and cheese burritos...Enjoys laying out on the UA mall in October...
