TUCSON--Only 2,400 tickets remain for Saturday's Stanford-Arizona football game in Arizona Stadium, with potentially the biggest crowd of the season expected for Family Weekend.
Officials said sales would continue online (click here) until 11 a.m. Saturday, when sales shift to the stadium ticket office on the east side of the facility. The McKale Center Ticket office remains open today (Friday, Oct. 19) until 5 p.m.?? Tickets can be purchased until game time, 4 p.m.
The Wildcats (2-5, 1-3 in Pac-10 play) and Stanford (2-4, 1-3) both are fighting for some momentum heading into the final third of the season. UA plays three of its final five games at home, including Nov. 3 contests against UCLA and a Thursday, Nov. 15, match against Oregon.
The Family Weekend crowd should surpass the 53,000 mark to give UA its best home crowd this year. The Cats have averaged 51,860 with the home opener against Northern Arizona drawing a crowd of 52,638.
