Arizona Softball Team Falls to Cal-State Northridge

Fullerton, Calif.- The Arizona softball team was defeated by Cal-State Northridge, 4-3 in the second day of the Kia Klassic. The Metadors were led by Sandra Milchiker who was 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Leneah Manuma led Arizona offensively. She had two runs including one home run, her 15th home run of the season. Pitcher Jenny Gladding (12-3) gave up seven hits on her way to her third loss of the season.

This game marked the second time these two teams have met. The Metadors traveled to Tucson earlier this season for the Wildcat Invitational.

This loss snaps the Cats 20 game winning streak. Arizona is now 27-3.

The Cats will face Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday, March 16 at 9 a.m. in the third day of the Kia Klassic.
