TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona volleyball program will be showcased twice on national broadcast for the upcoming 2011 inaugural Pac-12 season.
Arizona's home matches vs. UCLA (Oct. 8) and Oregon State (Nov. 4) will be televised on Fox Sports Net and regional outlets.
The matches will be shown on a delayed basis with specific distribution information provided the week of the match. Last season the Wildcats received television exposure during its win over Arizona State at home and in defeat on the road against conference champion California.
"McKale Center will provide a great setting to watch the best level of volleyball in the country," said head coach David Rubio. "With our new Pac-12 conference and the momentum created by Commissioner Scott this past year, the Conference of Champions will only get stronger."
The Wildcats open the 2011 season in island fashion as the team will travel to Honolulu for a three match tournament with Wichita State, San Francisco and host Hawaii.
