TUCSON-Junior middle blocker Marisa DaLee tied a school record with a .750 hitting percentage as No. 19 Arizona swept Texas-El Paso, 15-7, 15-10, 15-11, on day two of the Starwoods Plaza Hotel Thanksgiving Invitational in Tucson Saturday morning.

Arizona completed its regular season with a 19-10 mark, while UTEP fell to 5-24 with its 11th consecutive loss.

DaLee, who already holds UA's single-season and career records for hitting percentage, had 13 kills and one error in 16 attempts. She had kills in each of her first nine swings. DaLee has recorded six of the top 15 matches in Arizona history in terms of hitting percentage. Her .750 matched the mark previously shared by Tamika Dennis, Michelle Fanger and Beth Grupenhoff.

The Cats used three setters and substituted often. Sophomore middle blocker Erin Sebbas came off the bench to post nine blocks. Arizona out-blocked UTEP, 15.5-4.

The Miners were led by freshman outside hitter Sarah Davis, who had 10 kills and 11 digs.

No. 3 Hawaii will take on Cal Poly in the final match of the invitational at approximately 1:00 Saturday afternoon. An all-tournament team will be announced following that contest.

The NCAA Tournament bracket will be announced Sunday at 8 p.m. MST.
