The University of Arizona will host a pair of 3, 6, 11 and 14 seeds in the men's basketball NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds, the NCAA announced Sunday. First round action begins at 10:45 a.m. (MST) on Thursday, March 17.
Gonzaga and Oklahoma are both No. 3 seeds and will face No. 14 seeds Winthrop and Niagara, respectively. No. 6 seeds Texas Tech and Utah will play No. 11 seeds UCLA and Texas-El Paso.
Gonzaga, Texas Tech, UCLA and Winthrop are in the Albuquerque region, and Oklahoma, Utah, Texas-El Paso and Niagara are in the Austin region.
