ER Trip Won't Sideline Stoops

TUCSON--Arizona head football coach Mike Stoops spent several hours?Friday morning at University Medical Center and was released shortly after?noon after being treated for kidney stones, he said.
Stoops will coach the Wildcats in their game Saturday night against Washington State, according to athletics director Jim Livengood. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Livengood said Stoops, who was home resting in the afternoon, told him he would see physicians Monday for further evaluation.
To underscore his intent to coach against the Cougars, Stoops later showed up at football offices?to spend some time on?game preparations.
"We have work to do," he said. "I'll be fine."?
