TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona Wildcat women's soccer team lost it final road match of the 2011 season Sunday afternoon, falling to USC 1-0 at the Trojans' McAlister Field.

Junior midfielder Ariel Boulicault led Arizona (1-13-2, 1-6-1 Pac-12) with four shot attempts for the day, two of which were on-goal tries saved by USC's Carley Pennington. Sophomore forward Jazmin Ponce made three shot attempts, while fellow sophomores Ana-Maria Montoya and Samantha Cummings added two each toward Arizona's 12-attempt total.

USC (6-11-0, 3-5-0 Pac-12) out shot the Wildcats 18-12 on the day, and led for on-goal tries 8-3.

Senior goalie Ashley Jett recoded six saves for the afternoon, along with the lone goal against, which came in the 60th minute of the match.

Up next, Arizona will return home for the remainder of the 2011 season, hosting Washington and Washington State. Arizona and Washington will face off on Friday, October 28 at 7 p.m. MST on Murphey Field at Mulcahy Stadium. Sunday, the Wildcats and Washington State will kick off at 11 a.m. MST.
