NASHVILLE, Tenn. ?- After the second round at the Mason Rudolph Championship, the Arizona women’s golf team has slipped from 14th place to 15th place.

Round two was not a good round for many of the teams competing.  Out of the 15 teams that are competing in this weekend’s tournament, Florida was the only team to improve on their first round score.  Vanderbilt now shares the tournament lead with Georgia, each team shooting a 578.  After two rounds of golf in the book, Arizona State, Duke and UCLA join Vanderbilt and Georgia to compile the top five.

Arizona golfer, Lani Elston- Marshall, continues to lead the Cats in the individual category.  She is currently in a seven-way-tie for 22nd place.  After shooting par (72) yesterday, Elston shot a +4 (76) today, in round two.

Cassandra Kirkland shot a +1 (73) yesterday, tying her for 26th place.  Today Kirkland shot a +9 (81), and now finds herself in a tie for 52nd place.

Vanderbilt’s Jacqui Concolino leads the tournament for the second consecutive day.  Concolino shot a -4 (68) in round one, and followed that up with a -3 (69) today in round two.

The Mason Rudolph Championship will finish up tomorrow with the completion of round three.
