2005-2006: Went 6-6 in the fall season, advanced to the consolation finals of the ITA South West Regional by winning four straight...Finished the year at 15-20 playing mostly at the No. 4 spot...Went 4-5 in the Pac-10 and advanced to the second round of the Pac-10 tournament before falling to Stanford’s 15th-ranked Matt Bruch...Played with Peter Zimmer at the No. 3 position in doubles...The pair started the spring season 7-0, finished with a 13-6 record overall including a win in their only appearance at No. 2.

Arizona 2004-2005: Was a main contributor for the Wildcats...Went 10-1 in the fall season, highlighted by winning the consolation final at the Wilson Regional...Defeated UCLA’s Phillip Gruendler who was ranked #66 at the time...Finished the season 18-14 playing the majority at the No. 5 position ...Won against NAU in his single start at No. 1...Paired with multiple teammates throughout the season and finished with a 9-15 doubles record.

High School: Stucom, El Masnou, Barcelona...Advanced to the semifinals of the Under-18 Regional Tournament...Advanced to the finals of the regional tournament with his club team, Club Sportiu Laieta. Best ranking was No. 30 in the under 18 category and was ranked as high as 210 including all age groups.

Personal: Born Bruno Alcala on June 14, 1984, in El Masmou, Barcelona...Son of Javier Alcala Batlle and Gloria Serrano Esteban... Father is an Architect... Mother is a civil servant... Both parents are avid travelers and enjoy learning about the different cultures around the world...Has one sister, Maria Alcala Serrano who is 15 years old...Academic major is pre-business...
