TUCSON - The University of Arizona men's tennis team hosted its yearly "Kids Day" event today at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. About 40 students from three southern Tucson schools participated in the event with several of the men's tennis players serving as instructors.

"It's an event we have done every year," head coach Tad Berkowitz said. "The Tucson Community Tennis Project is a non profit organization that helps assist with kids that want to learn the game of tennis."

The Arizona players evened the six courts out among themselves and ran through some drills with the kids along with playing a couple tennis games with them.

"Myself, Tommy, and the guys love this opportunity to spend time with the kids," Berkowitz added.

The No. 46-ranked Wildcats will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 20 when they host No. 48 University of Denver at 11 a.m. at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
