Arizona This Year: Fossatti’s return with her All-America credentials should help the UA outfield and hitting attack in a big way in 2005, after missing all of last season while rehabilitating a foot injury... In her first game action since the 2003 season, she started all five games in left field in fall ball and hit .357 with five hits in 14 at-bats... Scored two runs and drove in two runs... Likely to take the right field spot this year and fill a spot somewhere near the top of the order.


2005: Had game-winning hit in a walk-off win over Washington on Senior Day, May 8 ... Went two-for-three with two runs scored in a May 7 win over Washington ... Three-for-four with a double and two runs scored in an April 23 win over Arizona State ... Had back-to-back multi-hit games in wins over Fresno State and Oklahoma at Kia Klassic ... Scored two runs in a five-inning win over New Mexico State on Feb. 6.


2004: Underwent ankle surgery and redshirted the season.


2003:  Earned second-team All-America honors...Two-hole hitter behind Autumn Champion... Started 62 games for Arizona, hitting .327 in the No. 2 spot and driving in 23... Scored 44 runs on 52 hits... Knocked three homers on the season versus New Mexico State on Feb. 20, Northern Iowa on March 21, and New Mexico on March 24...  Fielding percentage of .972 tied for fifth on the team... Led outfielders with six assists... Had five hitting streaks on the year, including two five-game streaks from Feb. 9-16, one six-game streak from May 15-23, a seven-game streak from March 13-28, and a season-high eight-game hitting streak from Feb. 22 through March 7, in which she scored 10 runs on 13 hits and drove in nine... Had a season-high four hits versus ASU on April 18... Second team All-Pac-10... First team All-Region... Had 18 multiple-hit games.


2002: Hit in the No. 2 spot most of the year... Left-handed slapper who had a .342 batting average, second-best on the club... Hit .355 in NCAA play in nine games, tying teammate Mackenzie Vandergeest for team-high honors... Named to the all-region second team after eight hits, four runs and two doubles in Minneapolis... Had a 1.000 fielding percentage in left field... Suffered a stress fracture in her left foot and missed nearly a month of action and 19 games from late February through much of March... Opened her career with a 4-for-4 day versus Alabama... Fourteen multiple-hit games, including four in conference play.


High School: Foothill High School, Tustin, Calif., 2001... Two-time All-American... Two-time state player of the year... Four-time all-league and All-CIF selection... Defensive player of the year her senior season... Four-time scholar-athlete... Won a coach’s award in volleyball.
