TUCSON -Arizona (14-13, 3-12 Pac-12) and USC (14-11, 8-6 Pac-12) will continue the 2011-12 Pac-12 women's basketball schedule with a contest on Thurs., Feb. 23. Set to start at 7 p.m. PT/8 p.m. MT, the Wildcats and the Trojans will play at Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Arizona and USC will meet for the 70th time on Thursday and USC holds a 49-20 advantage over UA. Earlier this season, UA fell to USC, 72-67, in Tucson. The Wildcats won two of the three meetings between the two teams last year, once in Tucson (2/26/11, 74-64) and once in L.A. for the Pac-10 Tournament (3/10/11, 72-61). Since the 2006-07 season, the Trojans hold an 8-4 advantage.

Arizona is 14-13 overall and 3-12 in Pac-12 play on the season. The Wildcats are paced by junior guard Davellyn Whyte's 17.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.6 steals per game. She is backed up by sophomore forward Erica Barnes' 11.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and 11.8 points from sophomore guard Candice Warthen. Senior guard Shanita Arnoldhands out 4.8 assists per game. The Wildcats are shooting 39.4 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from three-point range and 71.7 percent from the free throw line.

Among the Pac-12 teams, Arizona ranks in the top three in free throw percentage (.717), three-point field goal percentage (.359) and three-point field goals per game (6.5). Individually, Whyte ranks No. 2 in scoring (17.3), No. 9 in assists (3.5), No. 5 in free throw percentage (.781), No. 2 in steals (2.6) and No. 2 in three pointers per game (2.3). Barnes is No. 18 in scoring (11.3) and No. 7 in rebounds (7.9). Arnold is No. 3 in assists (4.8) and No. 2 in assist/turnover ratio (1.7). Freshman center Aley Rohdeis No. 6 in blocked shots (1.4).

Nationally, Arizona ranks No. 18 in three-point field goal percentage (.359) and No. 43 in three-point field goals per game (6.5). Individually on the national scene, Whyte ranks No. 49 in points with 17.3.

USC is 14-11 overall and 8-6 in Pac-12 play on the season, including a 7-3 home record. The Trojans have three players averaging in double figures with 12.4 points from sophomore forward Cassie Harberts and senior guard Briana Gilbreath and 11.4 points from senior guard Ashley Corral. The Women of Troy are shooting 37.8 percent from the field, 34.1 percent from three-point range and 68.8 percent from the free throw line.

Among the Pac-12 teams, USC ranks among the top three in three-point field goal percentage (.359). Individually, Corral is No. 2 in three-point field goal percentage (.385) and No. 1 in three-point field goals made (2.4).
