TUCSON--Head coach Mike Stoops and staff will showcase the early version of their 2007 Wildcat football squad in the annual Spring Game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday (April 14) in Arizona Stadium.
The session is the 14th practice for the team in March and April, with an additional practice permissible under NCAA rules. Coaches are expected to hold a closed walk-though type review practice on Sunday.
All systems appear 'Go' through practice sessions to date, with the incorporation of the spread offense going smoothly and the refining of UA's strong defense continuing apace. UA finished 6-6 a year ago and was bowl eligible, and shoots for better things in 2007.
The Spring Game is open to the public at no charge. Video cameras and cameras will not be permitted, nor is the use of camera phones or other visual recording equipment, except by authorized Tucson media.
