Top-ranked Stanford remains undefeated (13-0), after defeating No. 48 Arizona (9-4), 7-0, at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium Saturday.

“The girls played very tough today and competed hard,” said head coach Vicky Maes. “Stanford is a great team and I was happy to see our girls play un-intimidated.”

This is the fourth straight Pac-10 win for Stanford and the third loss for Arizona. The Cardinal grabbed the doubles point with a 3-0 sweep.

In singles, sophomore Juliette Mavroleon looked to put the Wildcats on the board after she won her second game against No. 11 Teresa Logar. Logar won the third game 1-0 (11-9).

Arizona returns to Robson Tennis Center to take on No. 58 Penn on Wednesday March 8, at 2 p.m. (MST).
