TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 22 Arizona baseball team returns home this weekend and steps away from Pac-10 conference action as it hosts Cal State Bakersfield in a three game series Friday-Sunday.

The series opens on Friday night at 6 p.m. at Kindall Field/Sancet Stadium with “Nurses Night” as all nurses attending the game will receive half-price admission with a valid ID. Saturday’s game will also start at 6 p.m. as the program hosts “Alumni Night” for UA Alumni Association members who will receive half-price admission. The three-game set concludes on Sunday at Noon on Mother’s Day. All mothers will receive free admission to the Sunday game if accompanied by a paid adult guest.

Next week, the Wildcats will host No. 2 Arizona State in a Saturday-Monday series as part of the State Farm Territorial Cup series challenge, which Arizona clinched last month. All three games in the series will begin at 6 p.m., including the finale which was pushed back after initially being scheduled as an afternoon game.

Arizona (29-14, 9-9 Pac-10) will wrap up its regular season home slate with a three-game set against Stanford May 21-23. UA will honor its two senior players, Rafael Valenzuela and Grayson Adams, prior to the opening game of the series as part of the annual Senior Day recognition.

The Wildcats close out the regular season schedule on the road at Oregon State May 28-30.
