2005-06 Season: At the 2006 Pac-10 Championships, finished sixth in the 400 IM (4:19.78) and 12th in the 200 IM (2:03.27)... Finished fourth in the 1000 free against ASU... Against California, finished sixth in the 200 IM (2:08.96)... Finished eighth in the 400 IM (4:26.92) at the 2005 Texas Invitational while placing 21st in the 200 IM (2:05.71) and 26th in the 100 fly (56.82).


2004-05 Season: Competed at the National Championships for the first time in 2005 as she finished 19th in the 400 IM (4:18.60) and 28th in the 200 IM (2:01.84)... Finished 10th in the 400 IM at the 2005 Pac-10 Championships... Against Northwestern and Washington, finished third in both the 200 (2:08.96) and 400 IM (4:29.28)... Against Oregon State, finished second in the 100 fly (59.63)... At the 2004 Texas Invitational, won the 400 IM (4:15.50).


2003-04: Finished 11th in the 400 IM (4:20.31) at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships... Was second in the 200 IM (2:04.89) against UCLA... Against USC, finished fourth in the 200-meter (LC) breast (2:47.38).



Lettered twice in swimming for Coach Heather Hoskins at Rogers High School... Received All-America honors in 100 fly, 200 IM and 400 free relay as a senior... Individual state champion in the 100 fly and runner-up in the 200 IM that season... Olympic Trials qualifier in the 400 IM and National qualifier in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 100 fly.


Personal:  Born Emily Rebecca Strouse on Feb. 6, 1984, in North Little Rock, Ark.... Daughter of Mike and Susan Strouse and has two older brothers. Major is communications.
