LAS VEGAS, Nevada ?- The top-ranked Wildcat softball team handed host UNLV its 10th loss of the season Friday night at the Eller Media Stadium Classic in a 5-0 shutout.

Junior pitcher Alicia Hollowell tossed her second perfect game this season against the Rebels, striking out 12 and allowing zero runners to reach base. The win marked Hollowell’s 11th this season and the Wildcats’ 16th. Hollowell’s 12 Ks in the game puts her season total at 154.

Offensively for the Cats, Caitlin Lowe and Jen Martinez did most of the talking. Lowe went three-for-four with a run, an RBI and a stolen base. At designated hitter, Martinez went two-for-four with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored.

The Cats will take on Bowling Green on Saturday night at 8:15 p.m. (9:15 MST) at the Eller Media Stadium Classic, before facing North Carolina State and Miami (Ohio) on Sunday.
