Arizona batted around in the top of the first as visiting team, sending 11 hitters to the plate to take a 6-0 lead. Autumn Champion led off with a single and later had a sac fly and Lisha Ribellia hit a two-run single.
Lovie Jung led off the second with a solo home run to make it 7-0. Mackenzie Vandergeest hit a high infield popup no one cornered for an infield double, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on Jackie Coburn's sacrifice fly to push the score to 8-0.
UA added three more runs in the top of the fifth with back-to-back doubles by Candace Abrams and Jung, an infield single, a wild pitch and a RBI grounder by Coburn.
